Expertise. Service. Value
Our failure analysis practices are based on decades of experience in metallurgical testing and forensic investigation. The typical failure analysis begins with a thorough visual inspection, photographs of the as-received samples, and interviews with the client. Based on the initial consultation we provide a quote including the costs for testing, analysis, and reporting, including the use of advanced analytical techniques whenever needed. Our consultants work closely with you along every step of the way to ensure you reach an effective solution and get the analysis you need.
Expert Service: Our all-American team of Ph.D. failure analysts have been trained by many of the foremost leaders in the field and includes in-house staff and consultants with expertise in virtually every field. We have over 150 publications; our first failure analysis article came out in 2003 in Practical Failure Analysis. Follow this link to learn more about who we are.
Facilities: At G2MT Labs, we maintain metals testing and analysis facilities for metallography, materials characterization, corrosion testing, hydrogen analysis, metallurgical consulting, and more. We work with world-class laboratories in the Houston area and around the US to perform additional testing beyond our in-house capabilities, including NIST, Colorado School of Mines, University of Houston, and A&M Technical Services.
Rapid Turnaround: When parts fail in operating lines, you cannot afford to wait weeks for results. Our failure analysis team can often have preliminary results to you the same day and completed reports within a few days. We look forward to working with you!
